With the Companion Savings Account you can have the best of both worlds with some funds locked into a great paying CD and some funds available in a high paying savings account, of which the balance can be accessed at any time.
HCSB CD account holders are eligible for our premium priced Companion Savings Account of equal or lesser value of your new CD.

Open a 6 month or greater CD with at least $10,000. Bring us new funds not already on deposit at HCSB. Open a high-yield Companion Savings account of equal or lesser value of the new CD. This Companion Savings Account does not allow additional deposits.

The Limited Edition Savings Account can only be opened at the end of a CD term and offers competitive interest rates as an alternative to renewing your CD.
